If you have already read the articles contained in Control and Design Tabs please continue reading otherwise it would give some context to the article and video of voltage optimisation.

Following on from control and deisgn articles It proves why detailed design should be sought after.

In order for voltage optimisation to work the most efficiently, power quality should be the first port of call.

When tackling power quality and having detailed logging information to ascertain the viability of installing voltage optimisation can save thousands of dollars. It may be concluded that after a project undertaken for power quality has enough data to say that installation of another transformer may not be worth the cost.

Simultanesouly  it may be noticed neighbouring customers on the network may be " a polluter" which in turn adds more effects for your installation.

If that is the case it could be worth notifying the energy retailer.

If after all options exhausted and it is viable solution the project beforehand may have the chance to come in cheaper as you may not need the capacity that was once needed and the power quality has helped to stabilise the negative effects which means voltage optimisation engineering would become less complex.
